It's the first month of the year, and we're focusing out attention on beginnings. Fresh starts, origins, first contacts, and the beginning of the end. We are starting first with the beginning of the end in The Infinity Gauntlet. We then move to new beginnings with The Vision. Letter 44 surrounds our first contact with aliens. The omega men bring back the beginning of the end. And we get a fresh star with with X-Men Mutant Genesis.
Its the beginning of the end when Thanos gets the Infinity Gauntlet. Half of all living creatures are wiped out in the first book along. And we end with a game of keep-away on an epic scale.
Next week is all about new beginnings when the Vision tries to learn what its like to be human. With a wife and two kids in toe, they make a go of it in a Washington, DC suburbs. But can an artificial family really have a normal life?
